Heart Expression & Care Givers Initiative

Every child in a rural community deserves to learn, feel safe and thrive.

HECGI is a Nigerian humanitarian nonprofit working with children, teenagers and underserved communities — through education, child safety, mentorship, safe water and climate resilience.

Who we serve

Children and teenagers in rural and underserved communities

To improve the lives of children and teenagers in rural and underserved communities by providing access to quality education, psychosocial support, mentorship, and essential resources to thrive.

We are faith-based, and that foundation shows in how we serve rather than in what we ask of the people we serve: with compassion, equity and accountability, alongside local leaders, schools and families.

What we do

Five programmes, one commitment

Our programmes are the strategic umbrellas under which every HECGI project, outreach and partnership is delivered.
